April Happenings

All our trips in April were to places I worked. This was our evening activity in Prairie du Chien.

The next job was in Jamestown. Here we are working hard.

We played spades and I got a few good hands.

Becky toured about 30-50 quilt shops in Minnesota in their Quilt Shop Hop.

We spent Easter in Jamestown. We got pictures from around the country of the grandkids. Andrew was flown to Virginia for a meeting in preparation for his upcoming assignment in Germany. Kendra had the Easter activities on her own.

Weston chasing Easter eggs.

Sloane on the hunt.

Lainey, Kenna and Jax dressed for Easter.

The Raleigh Stolees drove to Kitty Hawk for a beach day.

The dog looks concerned about the kids' safety.

Cora got a bit of chocolate for Easter.

Most of the Easter eggs they found were filled with Legos.

While we have snow on our flower beds, Raleigh is already harvesting strawberries.

Cora is a good strawberry collector as well.

Becky gets to take Lainey and Kenna on outings occasionally. This one was to the local bookstore.

Jax turned 2. The night before we went to Pizza Ranch for a pre-party.

Tom is trying to teach Jax how to blow out his candle.

They are enamored with the arcade attached to Pizza Ranch. Here Lainey is winning a rubber ducky.

We opened his gift at home. He got a plasma car. Since he hasn't figured it out yet he fell back on a ride he understood.

Lainey barely fits on Andrew's old bike but she is having plenty of fun.

Grandpa giving Jax a ride.

Danielle hosted a party the night of Jax' 2nd birthday. His sisters were as interested in his presents as he was.

The girls handmade and painted some wood cars for Jax (with Grandma's help).

A Paw Patrol cake made by Danielle's Grandmother.

He still hasn't figured out how to blow out the candles. Happy birthday Jax!

The next day Lainey had a dance recital. While waiting, Kenna and Jax were enthralled with an Asian beetle.
